How to create a barrel pond

 A small area of water provision is needed for the area of space that I created in a model of North Place model.  A small water feature to create the running sound of water and a small pond or barrel pond can be made if no space for any other pond. This still can be used to promote biodiversity on the site and to involve visitors and or schoolchildren. Both are needed as a small running water feature creates an acoustic sound and a pond is needed for biodiversity.  It is an open garden during the day and would be closed at night.  Some security measures to secure a barrel pond from being tampered with would be needed.   Possibly gated off.  As this space needs to be made into an attractive space for displays of art and mini gatherings possibly poetry readings, plays with small audiences, art classes, gardening group and community use, it may not accommodate a large pond.  Over time the space may be able to sustain a fixed pond.
