Courbet's Drawing of Landscape

Landscape Study

 

This simple black and white sketch was published in a collection of his works called Courbet.

A definite landscape can be seen.  I tried to copy his technique by redrawing it.  I found out that it was very difficult to achieve what he has in just black and white sketching.
